Capturing a Selfie, groupfie or creating live videos, are some of the engaging features are known to every social media channel user, which are indeed not only for the engagement but in certain cases they spread awareness, showcase skills to secure better opportunities on a global platform. It would be wrong if I will say that I dislike the live video feature, on the contrary, I am one of the passionate followers of such types of videos being uploaded on social media platforms since they come with a huge number of benefits, just to share a few, here are they:
- Reach a wider audience
- Ease and convenience
- Analytics tracking
- Ad free
But apart from the benefits, I might sound a little biased, since when it comes to twitter, it always makes me feel in another world of knowing the views and opinions of others more openly and also a little more engaging factors come when users re-tweet to gain more attention, but unfortunately, unlike other social media channel Facebook, the live video content has not been a part of Twitter in a much broader way, but this morning a refreshing news I read, stating that, from tomorrow onwards users on Twitter would be able to post live video content without any hassle, so tomorrow is the big day for the Twitter users, who would be getting the enhanced live video features, let’s explore further…
Twitter Live Video API
The new API would let the users take live videos to the next level and integrate the high-end technology with their content to deliver a much better HQ content on Twitter. As per the reports, the new API for live video would be available from tomorrow respectively coupled with the features of likes from Telestream, Wirecast, and Livestream Switcher as the chief API partners. The API would allow the users to use and enjoy the big video cameras, editing boards, desktop editing software and even satellite vans, to directly broadcast their live videos to Twitter and create more engaging content. The new Twitter API is expected to work as same as Facebook Live API.
Although, there are questions arising with the launch of this API, that whether Twitter would keep going with Periscope (Twitter’s live video app) or would there be the broadcasting and Livestream browsing into its main app, but yet there is no clarification to set down the rumor mill down, also the new API is quite different from Periscope Producer, which has offered a vacation spot URL, a platform for the users to send video from software like OBD or Wirecast. Well, whatever it would be, but the new Twitter API surely lets the companies flaunt the skilled broadcasting and video modifying tools to Twitter and users would certainly enjoy the new API to showcase the skills and talents on a social media platform at a global level and earn better opportunities.
