Twisted Tale of Dislike Button On Facebook

Yes, I love socializing with people; I love it more when people around the world shrink on one particular social media channel to share their views and opinions. I prefer different social media channels for my various preferences, but out of all, Facebook is my favorite pick for many different reasons. With this platform, I have been able to connect, share, listen and observe the global prospects, an issue or any random topic and have stayed updated. Indeed, I am not a fanatic FB user, but love to check my account as and when it is required to stay hydrated for my hunger of knowledge. Facebook has become much-needed aspect in every body’s life these days and has crossed the thin line of entertainment to necessity.

Although quite many relevant aspects are associated with Facebook, yet there have been times when regular or occasional users yearn for more. The more is of course not fall into the category of getting any feature better, because what is existing, it is reasonable and enticing enough, since Mark Zuckerberg and the team have understood the concept of user requirement from every angle making it more convenient and useful for the user base, yet a not so old need always existed and has harvested again by the Facebook users, a ‘Dislike Button’. On hearing the word dislike, we somehow develop some type of negativity within us and start thinking from a different perspective, but to calm down the ocean of mixed emotions within you, I would like to specify, why a ‘Dislike Button’ is needed.

Many times, we don’t approve of certain comments, images and of course the content of any particular posts, where it is very much required to speak your distaste about it, to halt the process of negativity spread further. Albeit, there are reaction buttons introduced by Facebook, which is just next to the like button, but somehow do not exactly speak our state of mind more clearly. A dislike button just as the Like button can do wonders. Facebook never approved of dislike button feature, due to their no-negativity policy and did not want to infuse hatred in every post feed.

But now Facebook has taken one step ahead and has decided to go ahead with the dislike button integrated in an engaging way, as reports suggest, the dislike button would be a part of a chat thread, not the post, where user can tap the emoji button to pick from attaching a little thumbs-up Like, thumbs-down Dislike, or a heart-eyes, lol, wow, sad, or angry emoji. This is eventually a much-awaited feature, which would soon rollout for all the users, on the completion of testing…so we shall keep you updated further, meanwhile if you are looking for an app developed specifically for your business, then Techugo is the name highly recommended for you.
